Travel software maker Amadeus has signed another leading travel agency in the country to a multiyear exclusive contract.
International Journeys, a consolidator and travel agency in the Philippines, have renewed their access to the Amadeus platform that has more than 430 airlines and 690,000 hotel shopping options in its system.
Amadeus head of South East Asia for distribution commercial Albert Villadolid said the company is delighted that one of the country’s top travel agencies will again be a partner over the next few years.
“Their decision to invest in Amadeus? leading technologies will further enhance their position in the travel industry value chain,? Villadolid said.
Recently, International Journeys signed up for Amadeus e-Power Consolidator, an Internet booking engine that enables consolidators to boost their business performance. The solution enables affiliated agencies to seamlessly book relevant travel content through its intuitive interface.
International Journeys president Kem Aldrich Lim said the renewed partnership with Amadeus will be a huge boost in their operations.
