BPO firm StarTek opens new facility in Pasig, eyes 2,000 workers

US-headquartered business process outsourcing firm StarTek formally inaugurated on Friday, March 13, its new office facility in Frontera Verde in Pasig City.

The new building, which is capable of hosting 2,000 workers, was specifically designed to offer employees a beautiful working environment in a strategic location.

StarTek has a facility in Makati City, as well as the recently inaugurated contact center in Iloilo City and a center in Angeles City.

Carlson said during the launch that while StarTek was late in coming to the Philippines, the company has compensated for it through its rapid expansion over the last two to three years. He said they are looking at opening more sites in the country in the coming months.

Comprised of four floors, the StarTek Frontera Verde office building has dedicated its first floor as a recruitment and training area, while the rest are assigned as production areas.

In designing the new office space, the company also took into consideration the recreational needs of its employees. StarTek Frontera Verde has a themed pantry per floor, gym, sleeping quarters, pocket garden and a multi-purpose roof deck.
