PLDT has also expanded its participation in the APN by being named an APN Direct Connect Partner, the only telecommunications company in the country to gain this status.

?We have always endeavored to go beyond infrastructure and deliver all the relevant IT elements for our enterprise customers in order to enable their competitiveness in this digital economy,? said Nerisse Ramos, ePLDT chief operating officer.

?Our status as an AWS Registered Partner and Direct Connect Partner is made even more valuable to clients by the fact that we are able to serve both their infrastructure and network needs, while providing local support that will certainly offer a better customer experience.?

Amazon Web Services, widely regarded as the global cloud leader, is the cloud computing platform of Amazon. Operating on 11 regions around the world, it includes a wide range of Web-based services including compute, storage, network, mobile, and database.
