Cloud-based ERP provider showcases business solutions in PH

Acumatica, a provider of ERP (enterprise resource planning) cloud solutions, recently held its first multi-nation tour across Manila in the Philippines, Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, Phnom Penh in Cambodia, and Jakarta in Indonesia where the company’s global and local developers? industry solutions were showcased.

In the Philippines, Acumatica presented its solutions with deep vertical-specific expertise in areas such as retail, manufacturing, business intelligence, warehouse management, distribution management and more.

The company said its localized focus “will help businesses of all sizes address their business and management needs– from warehousing to retail management, from accounting to human resource management, and from data management to business intelligence ?- quickly and in a cost-efficient manner through cloud and mobile platforms.”

C-level executives, business leaders, entrepreneurs and leaders from industries such as discrete manufacturing, retail, property and real estate management, mining and FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) met and discussed with local, regional, and international solutions developers such as AccelTech for their retail solution (Infosoft) and the RIC Group for their warehouse management system.

Established in 2008, Acumatica operates across 30 countries worldwide. The company provides cloud business solutions to international and Asian brands such as Abbott Nutrition, BreadTalk, Calpis, KFC, Pizza Hut, Samsung, Singha and Leo Beers, TH True Milk, Tan Hiep Phat Beverage Group (THP), Yamazaki bakery and Vina AceCook.

In the Philippines, Acumatica?s users include brands such as Armadillo Holdings, which manages The Legend brand of hotels and resorts, Big Scoop, and Himlayang Pilipino.

In a media briefing in Makati City, Acumatica chief executive officer Jon Roskill said: ?Businesses and organizations large and small want robust software solutions that can help their management empower their people to make the right decisions, maintain profitability and build a sustainable future ahead.”

In an interview, Acumatica’s international operations president Laurent Dedenis told Newsbytes.PH: ?Acumatica offers solutions that enable its users to work anywhere at any time and on any device. When asked about Acumatica’s take on the Philippines market, Dedenis said: “There have been exciting activities on cloud development in the region especially in the business landscape in the Philippines. There is now?a huge number of local business technology providers that started looking for cloud business solutions in the country.?Technology?innovation in the Philippines have been exponential, and that’s why we have identified the Philippines as one of our key markets along with Indonesia and Vietnam.”

Asked how Internet speed could affect Acumatica’s operations in the country, he said: “Internet access in the Philippines is by far, more impressive as compared to other neighboring countries.
