Roxas will work alongside another consumer goods executive, Kenneth Lingan, who is Google?s country manager for the Philippines.

He joins Google from Johnson & Johnson where he was senior marketing manager for global franchise operations, based in Singapore. Prior to that, he was regional marketing manager for Mead Johnson and also had stints in The Coca Cola Company and Procter and Gamble.

?I see so much potential in the Philippines in terms of digital innovations, which has a big impact on economic growth, access to opportunities and jobs, and more developed online services. I look forward to helping Google harness the Philippines? digital capabilities,? said Roxas.

He is a graduate of the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in Business Management. He also holds a master?s degree in Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University.

Roxas replaced tech veteran Ryan Morales, who is now back in the US as head of product marketing and strategy for Google Art, Copy & Code.

Morales, a Filipino-American, spent three years and six months in his previous post as country marketing manager of Google Philippines.
