The tablet-cum-notebook is powered by an Intel Atom x5-Z8550 processor, a quad-core chip with 2M cache and has speeds of up to 2.4 GHz.

It comes with a 64 GB built-in storage and sports a micro-SD slot that supports ?up to 128 GB capacity. It also features a slot for a single nano-SIM card. The display is a 10.1-inch FHD IPS (1920×1200).

The re-imagined Yoga Book has 8,500mAh battery which can keep the unit flowing for around 13 hours of usage, allowing users the option not to bring the charger along.

Users who prefer either Windows OS or Android are in for a nice treat: the 2-in-1 tablet has versions on Windows 10 and Android Marshmallow.

Lenovo?s local execs said the Yoga Book writes naturally with its Real Pen stylus, types better than ever, and has an immersive sound.

It comes with what is called on-demand Halo Keyboard that can double as note pad when not in use. The keyboard can be activated at a touch or can be hidden when not required.

Lenovo said it’s “the thinnest multi-mode tablet in the world” at 9.6 mm or 0.38 inch. It comes in carbon black.

But don’t expect a too much on its camera (8 MP auto-focus for its rear shooter and just 2 MP in front).

Amanda Dy, 4P manager for tablets at Lenovo Philippines, said it took the company three years to develop the Yoga Book. ?We conducted many tests and studied how the people use a tablet,” she said.

Dy said she foresees many brands and some competitors copying the Yoga Book for its unique design and features.

“This is a Yoga family, so expect that this not the last one to hit the market,” she assured. “This is a great device for those on the go.”
