Samsung?s local office unveiled the Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime at the Promenade Cinema 6 in Greenhills, San Juan with Samsung J Series ambassador Liza Soberano gracing the event.

The product raises the smartphone experience several notches higher with its upgraded features poised to allow its users to work and live better, engage in their hobbies more conveniently, and enjoy the advantages of modern technology to the hilt.

It comes with an 8MP+5MP camera with front flash which allows the user to take clearer, brighter, and better-looking selfies even at night time when most people struggle with taking selfies worthy of posting on social media.

The camera?s Quick Launch feature also makes it easier to turn the camera on.

In addition, ?By swiping your display left and right, up and down, you can switch your camera to the rear and front camera, and you can add up the filters,? said Heya Lee, Samsung?s product marketing manager for entry level smartphones, during the launch.

The Galaxy J2 Prime also boasts of a large 5? qHD TFT screen, making it Samsung?s first 5-inch smartphone in its price segment.

?This is just right for my hand because it fits well and I have a very easy grip,? shared Heya. ?And yet, it has a big enough size for your enjoyment for watching movies.?

?I like to watch a lot of videos on Youtube or videos on Instagram,? added Soberano. ?At least now, I can see a lot better and bigger and I can enjoy watching videos more.?

J2 Prime also features an upgraded battery. Built with a 2,600mAh battery and an ultra-power saving feature, the modern and sleek device is certainly ready for extended usage, allowing no room for zero downtimes.

The smartphone likewise puts a stop to slow Internet browsing and downloading of heavy files, with its upgraded LTE connectivity via its LTE Cat.4 capability.

It is also equipped with a quad-core 14GHz processor, 8GB internal and 1.5GB RAM memory (up to 256 GB), an Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS, and an LTE dual-SIM Active.
