TV5 relaunched its hit TV show at the Shangri-La Hotel in Makati City, signaling a new and more exciting lineup for ?Wattpad Presents? which dramatizes romance stories posted by young writers to Wattpad, either via the website or the mobile app.

Millenials and fans of the TV show will again be treated to a buffet of love stories that they can relate to, but this time, the genres will be more varied. Aside from the usual rom-com type, tales of romance mixed with bits of action and horror will also light up the TV screens.

Leading the lineup is ?Destined? which garnered 22.4 million reads in Wattpad and top winner of the Wattys 2015 award. Wattys is Wattpad?s annual writing contest.

Written by Blue Maiden, ?Destined? is about a love triangle involving college students. It poses the question, ?Who do you choose ? the one you love or the one who loves?? The characters involved in the love triangle are Kayla portrayed by former theatre artist Sarah Carlos, Krystal played by indie actress Kate Alejandrino, and Kean played by Ben Isaac.

The pilot episode of ?Wattpad Presents? was directed by James Habac Jr. who megged ?I?m Drunk I Love You.?

The next three episodes are ?Just the Benefits? written by Beeyotch, which had 28.9 million reads, ?Unlucky I?m In Love with My Bestfriend? penned by Stupidlyinlove which recorded 38.1 million reads, and ?Special Section? by Onneechan with 17.5 million reads.

?Our target market for these stories and how we attack them are the millennials because they are the ones who have access to the Internet and social media,? said Habac. ?Especially with the episode I directed, technology and social media play a big factor [in the story].?

Each episode is crafted with excellent production values courtesy of the best production houses in the country such as Unitel and Firestarter, known for their quality films and commercials.
