Through the EIP, Exora aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values of science and engineering students by providing training to Ateneo SOSE students in the form of actual exposure in the various departments or units of the company.

Exora has signed up four interns to work on Web platform development, research and development, and sales. The intern from management information systems will be working on improving Exora?s bidding platform while the electronics and communications engineering and computer science interns will work on integrating energy insights and analytics to Exora?s cloud-based system.

The contract between Exora and Ateneo was signed in a simple gathering at the Office of the Vice President for the Loyola Schools in the Ateneo de Manila University Loyola Heights Campus in Quezon City.

Exora was represented by its co-founder and chief executive officer, John Michael Bernil, while Ateneo was represented by Dr. Maria Luz Vilches, the vice president for the Loyola Schools.

Witnessing the contract-signing were Robert Francis Cauilan, senior vice president for legal affairs of Exora; Dr. Nina Rosario Rojas, acting dean of the Ateneo School of Science and Engineering (SOSE); Enzo Bautista, co-founder and chief technology officer of Exora; Matt Levin Tan, co-founder and chief innovation officer of Exora; and Nathan Marasigan, senior vice president for regulatory affairs.

Exora is an online third-party auctioneer for Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) which allows businesses to create cheaper contracts in their current electricity bill by connecting them with their suitable electricity partner able to meet their desired price range and contract details.

Exora, represented by its co-founder and CEO John Michael Bernil, recently won the Global Student Entrepreneurship Awards National Finals, and the Techsauce Regional Competition. Exora is set to represent the Philippines in the global finals on June 23.
