On September 12, Apple introduced their latest products, including the most expensive smartphone in the company?s history ? the iPhone XS Max.
Tech firm Picodi decided to check how many days the Filipinos and citizens from other countries have to work to afford the novelty from Apple. The results of the research were based on iPhone XS 64Gb prices in various countries and official data on the average wages in each of them.
The study found that an average Filipino would have to work 156.6 days to earn enough to buy the new iPhone. The Filipinos took the last place among all the countries in the survey. The Swiss ? who won the ranking ? would have to work only 5.1 days.
