Asus PH lifts curtains on new line of ZenBook laptops

At a grandiose launch event held on Saturday, September 22, at Okada Manila, the local subsidiary of Taiwanese tech firm Asus announced the availability of its latest ZenBook, ZenBook Pro, and VivoBook S premium ultraportable laptop series.

The new set of laptops powered by the latest Intel Core processors includes the ZenBook 13, ZenBook 14, and the ZenBook 15, which are said to be the world?s most compact 13.3-inch, 14-inch, and 15.6-inch laptops, respectively.

The ZenBook Pro 15 professional laptop is now joined by the new ZenBook Pro 14, with both model incorporating a new feature, the Asus ScreenPad.

Also announced was the latest version of the ZenBook S, which now has a battery life of up to 20-hours, and the VivoBook S15, with comes in a variety of colorful, lightweight laptops.

Zenbook 13

The ZenBook 13, 14 and 15 are said to be the world?s most compact laptops with its frameless Asus NanoEdge display and ultra slim bezels on all sides for a screen-to-body ratio of 95%.

The design incorporates Asus? ErgoLift mechanism which tilts the keyboard for a comfortable typing experience. The ZenBooks also feature the new NumberPad, a LED-illuminated numeric keypad built into the touchpad.

In terms of software, the new models feature the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processors with integrated Gigabit Wi-Fi optimized for Intel Wireless-AC 9560 and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX Max-Q graphics.

The ZenBook Pro 14 is a lighter and highly mobile alternative to the ZenBook Pro 15, featuring the new Asus ScreenPad.

?The screen pad is our bread and butter for the ZenBook Premium series. It?s the world first intelligent touch pad. If you don?t want a screen pad, you can turn it off and use it as a touch pad,? said Asus Philippines country product manager Joey Nocom.

The intelligent touchpad is available exclusively on the ZenBook premium line: the ZenBook Pro 15 and the ZenBook Pro 14. The ScreenPad can also make for a secondary display for dual-screen productivity.

Aside from the Screenpad, the ZenBook Pro 14 also promises advanced features that have been seen in the previous ZenBook series. Powered by up to the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8565U processor featuring integrated Gigabit Wi-Fi and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q discrete graphics, the ZenBook Pro 14 handles the most demanding tasks with ease.

The ZenBook Pro 14, like the 13/14/15 series, also provides its users with the ErgoLift hinge and a NanoEdge display. The display is also factory pre-calibrated and Pantone validated for color accuracy. The ZenBook Pro 14 features fast face login and built-in support for Windows Cortana and Amazon Alexa voice services.

The new ZenBook S, now upgraded with power-saving components, enables the laptop with a 20-hour battery life. The ZenBook S also features the latest 8th Generation Intel Core processors that the other?s in the series do, with combined portability, no-compromise connectivity and with military grade toughness.

VivoBook S15

VivoBook S15

The VivoBook S15 is a pair of laptops that feature color-blocking designs. With five color options, it gives its users the opportunity to let their personalities shine through.

The VivoBook also features Asus? ErgoLift, and a three-side NanoEdge display. The S15 and S14 are powered by up to an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, with NVIDIA GeForce MX150 discrete graphics. Both laptops also feature dual-storage designs.
