Garmin bares Venu, vivomove 3, vivoactive 4 smartwatches in PH

Garmin Philippines recently launched three new product offerings for the smartwatch segment – the Venu, vivomove 3, and vivoactive 4 which are oriented for users pursuing a healthier and more active lifestyle with their broad range of health monitoring features.

The Garmin Venu

Venu and vivoactive 4 are available in Garmin authorized retailers while the vivomove 3 will arrive at the third week of November.

“We’re thrilled to announce Venu, Garmin’s first smartwatch with an AMOLED display, which will breathe life and color into animated workouts on live watch faces. The newest additions to Garmin’s active lifestyle range of smartwatches are designed to be essential tools for customers who want to track and improve their overall well-being and want the connected and health features of a smartwatch with a more fashion-forward look better suited for the office or dressing up,” said Engelhard Sundoro, managing director for South Asia and India at Garmin.

The three devices are the latest additions to Garmin’s fitness segment that are targeted towards runners, cyclists, swimmers, multi-sport athletes, and customers who simply want to keep track of their health.

The Garmin vivoactive 4

Now compatible with a wider range of Android and Apple OS versions, these smartwatches can access the Garmin Connect IQ store app where there are a variety of live watch faces, apps, and widgets.

Priced at P23,595.00, Venu features smart notifications that enables users to receive emails, texts, and alerts when connected to almost any smartphone. Spotify accounts can also be linked and used in conjunction with Garmin’s wireless headphones which is sold separately and does not require the presence of a smartphone.

It is also equipped with Body Battery energy monitoring system that uses collected data that analyzes the user’s energy reserves to help schedule the optimal times for both activities and rest. Its Pulse Ox sensor, additionally, displays blood oxygen saturation. For female wearers, the Venu also arrives with a menstrual cycle tracking through the Garmin Connect mobile application.

Meanwhile, for P21,590.00, the vivoactive 4 comes with the similar bells and whistles of Venu minus the AMOLED panel which can be a deal-breaker for some users. Both of the devices come with the Garmin Coach which provides free training plans with a virtual personal trainer whether users are gearing up for a 5K, 10K, or half marathon.

The Garmin vivomove 3

The hybrid smartwatch device vivomove 3, which retails for P16,595.00, has the appearance of a traditional timepiece, complete with real ticking hands and dial details which can reveal a hidden conventional smart screen with just a flick of the wrist. It has a stainless steel bezel and a five day battery life.

Venu will be available in three color options: Black with Slate Hardware, Light Sand with Rose Gold Hardware, and Granite Blue with Silver Hardware. The vivomove 3 and vivoactive 4, meanwhile, come in Powder Gray with Silver Hardware and Black with Slate Hardware.

Garmin brand stores are located at Glorietta 5, SM Megamall, SM Mall of Asia, Uptown Bonifacio, and Alabang Town Center.
