Eaton unveils latest UPS solution for PH market

Power management solutions provider Eaton has launched its 5A Advantage Series UPS in the Philippines.

The new products are tailored to cater to the needs of local small office/home office (SOHO) owners, entrepreneurs, creatives, and recreational gamers, the company said.

“We understand that power supply disruptions can pose significant challenges, and reliable power is the backbone for both businesses and households,” Jimmy Yam, VP for East Asia at Eaton, said.

Howard Kung, country manager for the Philippines at Eaton, underscored how dependable power supply is a lifeline for remote work and leisure at home, particularly for small businesses and individuals.

“This is especially crucial for small businesses and individuals who heavily rely on technology for remote work or leisure at home. Eaton empowers the everyday consumer to effectively safeguard against power fluctuations and outages,” Kung said.

Eaton said users can ensure seamless power backup, including a cold start capability that powers devices directly from the UPS. The product also provides surge protection, circuit breaker protection, and automotive voltage regulation (AVR) for data and equipment safety.

Additionally, it offers versatile outlet format integration (DIN, NEMA universal, Universal) in a compact size.

Moreover, Eaton has forged a strategic partnership with Innovista as its exclusive distributor.

“We are excited about our collaboration with Innovista, as it allows us to introduce contemporary, cost-effective power management solutions to both small business owners and households across the Philippines,” Yam said.

The 5A Advantage Series UPS is now readily available on popular e-commerce platforms, Shopee and Lazada, with prices starting at P2,199.
