Startup veteran Crystal Lee Gonzalez, co-founder and CEO of Noneaway, has introduced Nona, an AI-powered platform designed to reshape how Filipinos search for and manage homes.
Launched on Sept. 9, Nona brings together over ₱60 billion worth of verified property listings and integrates AI to provide tailored home recommendations, smart furnishing suggestions, and tools for managing household needs such as repairs and cleaning. The platform is accessible for free at nona.ph.
Gonzalez, who has led multiple ventures in the tech and startup space, describes Nona as “your Home GPT,” emphasizing its role as a safe, verified, and personalized partner for buyers, renters, and homeowners.
To strengthen credibility, Nona has partnered with leading developers — including Shang Properties, Century Properties, Ayala Land, SM Residences, and Hotel 101 — and major brokerages such as ERA Philippines, RE/MAX Philippines, AskMe Realty, and Infinity Realty.
Noneaway, already a B2B platform for brokers and developers, serves as the backbone of Nona’s consumer-facing AI system.
Gonzalez first made her mark in the startup scene by launching Viber in the Philippines and Southeast Asia, growing the app to over 100 million users and establishing it as the most-used chat app in the country.
She then took on leadership roles with Honestbee Philippines, an on-demand food and grocery service which suspended its operations in April 2019 due to a financial crisis and funding problems at its Singapore headquarters.
Gonzalez then co-founded Pick.A.Roo, an all-in-one lifestyle and delivery app serving over 500,000 users across 21 cities, working with more than 1,300 brands and backed by Agile Digital Ventures.
Her roles have also included leadership positions at Canva Southeast Asia and Estee Lauder Philippines, alongside earlier work with Yahoo, where she honed her digital and operational expertise.
