Samsung Philippines has launched two new midrange smartphones — the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G — expanding its Galaxy A lineup with a focus on AI-driven features, durability, and extended software support.
The devices are positioned as more affordable options within Samsung’s ecosystem, targeting younger users and professionals seeking premium-like features without flagship pricing.
Both models feature updated designs that incorporate recycled materials, including thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and plastic wafer trays.
The Galaxy A57 5G comes with a 6.9mm slim profile, Gorilla Glass Victus Plus protection, and an aluminum frame, while both devices carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
On the camera front, the A57 5G is equipped with a 15MP main sensor, 12MP ultra-wide lens, and 5MP macro camera, while the A37 5G has a 15MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide, and 5MP macro. Both support HDR video and improved low-light imaging through enhanced image processing.
Samsung is also bringing its “Awesome Intelligence” features to the A series, including Circle to Search, AI-powered photo editing, and voice transcription. The transcription feature on the A37 supports 22 languages and can detect multiple speakers.
The Galaxy A57 5G runs on the Exynos 1680 processor, with upgrades to its CPU, GPU, and neural processing unit for AI tasks. Both devices are equipped with 5,000mAh batteries and support fast charging, reaching up to 65% in under 30 minutes.

Samsung said it will provide six years of security updates and six operating system upgrades for the devices, alongside protection features such as Knox Vault.
“The Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G are designed to provide accessible entry points into the expansive Galaxy ecosystem,” the company said.
In the Philippines, the Galaxy A57 5G is priced starting at P28,990 for the 8GB+128GB variant, while the Galaxy A37 5G starts at P25,990 for the same configuration.
