BPI e-wallet VYBE has partnered with M Lhuillier to allow users to cash in to their e-wallet accounts for free at more than 3,000 branches nationwide.
The partnership aims to expand access to digital financial services, particularly for Filipinos in areas with limited banking access.
Under the arrangement, users can cash in to their VYBE accounts by filling out an M Lhuillier Kwarta Padala form, paying the amount at the branch, and waiting for the funds to be credited to their e-wallet.
The service also allows users to transfer funds from existing Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) accounts for cash payouts through M Lhuillier branches.
VYBE is BPI’s e-wallet platform that supports QR PH payments, fund transfers to banks and e-wallets, rewards points, and other digital financial services.
Eric Faustino, head of digital partnerships and ecosystems at BPI, said the partnership is part of the bank’s push for broader financial inclusion.
“This initiative reinforces BPI’s commitment to financial inclusion. By making cash-in services more accessible through a trusted partner, we are helping more Filipinos take their first step toward adopting digital financial tools in their daily lives,” Faustino said.
Michael L. Lhuillier, president and CEO of M Lhuillier, said the company aims to make digital financial services more accessible through its branch network.
“At M Lhuillier, our focus has always been on meeting customers where they are. As a ‘Tulay ng Pilipino,’ we are committed to bridging Filipinos to essential services,” he said.
“Through this collaboration with VYBE, we offer a simple and reliable way for customers to access digital financial solutions through our extensive branch network,” Lhuillier added.
