Converge ICT Solutions has been selected as the connectivity provider for Centro Escolar University (CEU), with the broadband provider set to deploy dedicated Internet access across the university’s six campuses as part of its digital infrastructure upgrade.
Under the agreement, Converge Global Business, the company’s enterprise unit, will install its Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) service at CEU’s campuses in Manila, Makati (Gil Puyat and Legaspi Village), Malolos, Centro Escolar Integrated School in Malolos, and Las Piñas.
The network is intended to support the university’s administrative systems and digital learning initiatives.
CEU president Danilo Concepcion said the project forms part of the university’s efforts to strengthen its technology infrastructure.
“As we steer Centro Escolar University toward a future-ready academic ecosystem, integrating robust, enterprise-grade technology is paramount,” Concepcion said.
“This collaboration with Converge ensures that our campuses are equipped with the foundational infrastructure necessary to elevate our administrative services and provide our community with seamless access to digital resources, thereby reinforcing our commitment to academic excellence.”
According to Converge, the deployment will replace the university’s legacy network with enterprise-grade internet connectivity designed to improve administrative operations, enable secure data transmission among campuses, and reduce network downtime.
The company also said the upgraded infrastructure is expected to support hybrid learning, digital research, and other online educational tools.
