Epson unveils 8 new EcoTank printers in PH for homes, SMEs

Epson Philippines has expanded its EcoTank printer lineup with eight new models aimed at home users and small businesses, adding faster printing, mobile workflow features, and higher-yield ink bottles to its refillable ink tank range.

The new models are the L1310, L1350, L3310, L3350, L3316, L3356, and L5390.

Epson said the printers were designed for users looking for lower running costs and higher-volume printing in compact form factors.

Among the new features in the lineup are support for Epson Smart Panel on select models, allowing users to set up, monitor, scan, and copy from mobile devices.

The L1350, L3350, L3356, and L5390 support mobile scanning and copying through the app, as well as Apple AirPrint.

The L5390 also includes an automatic document feeder for handling multi-page jobs.

Epson said the printers use 65ml CMYK dye ink bottles that can print up to 4,700 pages in black and 7,500 pages in color.

The company also highlighted a color-coded refill system designed to reduce spills and incorrect refilling.

The new EcoTank models are covered for up to 50,000 printed pages under warranty, according to Epson.

The printers also come with a replaceable maintenance box to allow user maintenance and reduce downtime, while a semi-automatic print adjustment feature is intended to help maintain alignment and color calibration over time.

Epson said the new series has a smaller footprint than previous models, with the ink tank integrated into the printer body and paper handling redesigned to reduce paper bending and improve feed stability.

The company said the printers are up to 20% smaller than earlier models.

The lineup also uses Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, which the company said reduces power consumption compared with conventional printing systems.

For connectivity, the L1350, L3350, L3356, and L5390 support Epson Smart Panel, AirPrint, and Mopria for wireless printing from compatible devices.

The L1310, L3310, and L3316, meanwhile, use USB 2.0 connections for wired printing.

“Epson remains committed to delivering high-quality, efficient printing solutions that empower customers in their daily operations,” said Noelle Gonzalez, head of marketing at Epson Philippines.

“With the next generation of EcoTank Printer series, we have combined faster performance, enhanced durability and intuitive features to boost productivity in today’s competitive economy, helping businesses stay agile and sustainable.
