Honor has launched the Magic V6 in the Philippines, bringing a new foldable smartphone with a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, and a body measuring 4mm thick when unfolded.
The Honor Magic V6 is priced at P119,999 and is available for pre-order from Aug. 25 to Sept. 4.
The foldable measures 8.75mm when closed and 4mm when unfolded, with a weight of about 219 grams. Honor said the device uses its Super Steel Hinge, rated at a tensile strength of 2,800 MPa, alongside an AI-assisted bionic cushioning system designed to absorb impacts.
The Magic V6 has a 6.52-inch outer display and a 7.95-inch inner foldable screen, both supporting adaptive refresh rates of up to 120Hz. The outer display has a claimed peak brightness of 6,000 nits, while the inner screen reaches up to 5,000 nits.
Powering the device is a 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery with a claimed energy density of 921Wh/L. It supports 80W wired charging, 66W wireless charging, and wireless reverse charging.
The Magic V6 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile platform and comes with 32GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Honor said the hardware can support gaming at up to 120 frames per second.
For photography, the phone uses Honor’s AI Falcon Camera System, consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera, 64-megapixel telephoto camera, and 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Software features include AI Color Engine and Magic Video Color for image and video processing.
The device ships with MagicOS 10, which incorporates Honor’s AI agents for assistance and productivity functions. A feature called Fast Flex allows users to activate a dual split-screen interface through a folding action.
Honor has also expanded interoperability with Apple devices. Through Honor Share, Magic V6 users can transfer files and share notifications with devices including iPhones and MacBooks.
The Magic V6 comes in Red, Gold, and White. Pre-orders include one year of accidental damage protection covering the exterior and inner screen, as well as an Honor Pad X8b valued at P12,999.
Globe is also offering the Magic V6 under GPlan Plus 1799 at P3,937.50 per month for 24 months.
