Green GSM has launched a seven-seat electric taxi service in parts of Metro Manila using the VinFast Limo Green, expanding its local fleet beyond its existing standard ride-hailing service.
Called Premium Taxi, the service initially operates in Makati, Taguig, Mandaluyong, and Pasig, covering business districts, commercial areas, hotels, and major transport hubs.
The new service is Green GSM’s second service tier in the Philippines after Green GSM Car and is aimed at families, groups, business travelers, airport passengers, and customers requiring more passenger or luggage space.
Premium Taxi uses an all-electric fleet of VinFast Limo Green vehicles, which feature a three-row, seven-seat configuration. The vehicles are equipped with automatic air conditioning, separate air vents for the second and third rows, and an air filtration system.
Unlike the cyan vehicles used for the company’s standard Green GSM Car service, the Premium Taxi fleet comes in black.
Green GSM said the service is operated by drivers selected based on service ratings and professionalism. Fares are shown through in-vehicle meters and the Green GSM mobile app, where passengers can also monitor trip information and pricing.
“Premium Taxi is not simply about providing more space. It is designed for journeys where comfort and attention to detail matter, from family trips and airport transfers to business engagements and special occasions,” Green GSM Philippines CEO Le Thi Thu Trang said.
“By combining the spacious interior of the VinFast Limo Green with professional drivers and Green GSM’s five-star service standards, we aim to give Filipino customers a high-end mobility option that is thoughtfully-delivered from the moment they book until the journey ends,” she added.
