Electronic products maintained their position as the Philippines’ dominant export earner, generating $4.79 billion and capturing 58.8 percent of the country’s total export revenue in July 2026, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
Furthermore, electronic products led all commodity groups in annual growth, surging by $869.72 million. Other top growth drivers included gold, which rose by $79.34 million, and electronic equipment and parts, which increased by $71.81 million.
Rounding out the top export commodity groups for July 2026 were other manufactured goods: $371.46 million (4.6% share) and other mineral products, $366.26 million
By major category, manufactured goods formed the backbone of the country’s foreign trade, contributing $6.61 billion or 81.1 percent of total exports. Mineral products followed with $776.61 million (9.5%), while total agro-based products contributed $548.95 million (6.7%).
The United States remained the Philippines’ primary export destination in July 2026, accounting for $1.68 billion, or 20.7 percent of the country’s total shipments.
The top five major export trading partners for the month were the USA: $1.68 billion (20.7%), Hong Kong: $1.29 billion (15.9%), China: $919.82 million (11.3%), Japan: $856.60 million (10.5%), and Singapore: $401.17 million (4.9%).
The continuous upward trajectory in year-to-date figures highlights the resilience of the Philippine export sector, anchored heavily on technology, manufacturing, and strong bilateral trade partnerships.
The PSA noted that total export sales reached $8.15 billion in July 2026, marking a 10.8 percent annual increase compared to the $7.36 billion recorded in the same period last year, according to the latest report from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
While marking a slight month-over-month moderation from June 2026, the country’s robust year-on-year growth brings the year-to-date total export value from January to July 2026 to $54.92 billion — representing a solid 12.9 percent expansion from the $48.67 billion registered during the same seven-month period in 2025.
