Smartphone brand realme introduced last Sept. 16 its latest devices — the realme 15 Series 5G — in the Philippines, featuring advanced cameras, AI tools, and high-capacity batteries.
The lineup includes the realme 15 Pro 5G and the realme 15 5G.
The Pro model is equipped with a triple AI camera system led by a 50MP main shooter, complemented by an ultra-wide lens and a 4K-ready selfie camera capable of recording at 60fps.
The base variant features a 50MP main camera, 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 50MP selfie camera, with 4K video recording at 30fps. Both devices support Dual View Video mode, which enables simultaneous use of front and rear cameras.
realme has also integrated several AI-driven features into the series. These include AI Party Mode for capturing vibrant group moments, AI Smart Remover 2.0 for editing out unwanted objects in photos, and AI Nightscape for improved low-light shots. The phones also come with GT Boost 3.0 to enhance gaming performance.
Powering the devices are different processors: the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 for the Pro model and the MediaTek Dimensity 7300+ for the standard version. Both are built on 4nm architecture to support multitasking and gaming.
Battery performance is another highlight, with a 7,000mAh capacity supported by 80W SuperVooc fast charging, promising long usage with shorter charging times.
Design-wise, the Pro variant has a slim 7.79mm build with a curved display reaching a peak brightness of 6,500 nits. The standard model measures 7.66mm and uses a flat display with up to 4,500 nits.
Both sport Amoled panels with 144Hz refresh rates and carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
realme also announced collaborations with Hollyland and Fujifilm, offering accessories such as the Hollyland Lark A1 wireless microphone and the Instax mini Link 3 printer.
