Global cybersecurity distributor Exclusive Networks has brought back one of its earliest leaders, Renato Garcia, to head its Philippine operations, signaling a renewed push for growth in the country’s booming cybersecurity market.
Garcia, who previously led the company’s local arm from 2008 to 2021, is returning as country manager to oversee what the firm describes as a “new phase of growth” aimed at strengthening its national footprint and expanding into key regional hubs such as Cebu and Metro Davao.
“It feels great to be back home at Exclusive Networks,” Garcia said. “We’re more determined than ever to deliver a new level of success for our partners and customers, and to solidify our position as the Philippines’ go-to cybersecurity Value-Added Distributor.”
Garcia’s return marks a homecoming to the company he helped build from the ground up. During his first 13-year stint, he was instrumental in positioning Exclusive Networks as the country’s leading cybersecurity distributor.
Before rejoining, he served as managing director for Westcon-Comstor Philippines, where he continued to shape the local IT distribution landscape.
With over two decades of experience in the IT and services industry, Garcia brings deep expertise in channel strategy, vendor partnerships, and digital transformation — skills that Exclusive Networks is counting on to accelerate its momentum amid rising demand for cybersecurity solutions.
Under Garcia’s leadership, Exclusive Networks is rolling out an aggressive expansion plan designed to broaden its network of local partners and enhance its collaboration with global vendors, including Palo Alto Networks, F5, CrowdStrike, and SentinelOne.
The company is also beefing up its engineering and managed services capabilities, offering advanced implementation and support designed to help Philippine businesses strengthen their digital defenses.
“By providing local expertise and introducing innovative solutions, we aim to empower enterprises to protect their operations and thrive in an increasingly digital economy,” Garcia said.
For Bennett Wong, senior vice president for Asia Pacific at Exclusive Networks, Garcia’s appointment is more than a leadership move — it’s a strategic investment in local expertise.
“We are delighted to welcome Renato as Country Manager for the Philippines,” Wong said. “His proven leadership and industry experience will accelerate our services-first strategy and strengthen our position as a leading cybersecurity specialist in the region.”
