Honor has started 2026 with the Philippine launch of the Honor X9d 5G, positioning the device as its most durable mid-range smartphone to date.
The Honor X9d 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor with an Adreno A810 GPU, paired with 24GB of dynamic RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Honor said the configuration is designed to support AI-driven features, multitasking, and mobile gaming.
The device features a 6.79-inch Amoled display with a 2640 x 1200 resolution, along with rainproof touch responsiveness and glove-friendly controls, aimed at maintaining usability in different environments.
For imaging, the smartphone carries a 108-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera capable of recording 4K video at 30 frames per second with optical image stabilization. A 16-megapixel front camera supports 1080p video recording.
Honor said its AI-powered editing tools are integrated across the camera system.
Durability is a key focus of the device. The Honor X9d 5G comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, along with a speaker dust- and water-ejection feature.
It also uses Honor’s Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology, which has received SGS Triple Resistant certification and is rated to withstand drops of up to 2.5 meters.
The phone is equipped with an 8,300mAh battery and supports 66W Honor SuperCharge fast charging. It runs on MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15.
The Honor X9d 5G is priced at ₱18,999 and is available in Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, and Reddish Brown. Pre-orders placed from January 9 to January 23 are offered at an introductory price of ₱17,999, with buyers also entered into a raffle for a Tesla Cybertruck.
Honor said the device is available through major credit cards, Home Credit, and e-commerce platforms including Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop. It is also offered through Globe Plan Plus 999 and Smart Device Plan 1,999.
