FirstMetroSec upgrades trading platform with new Active Trader interface

First Metro Securities Brokerage Corporation has rolled out a new trading interface aimed at investors navigating faster and more volatile market conditions.

The brokerage said the new Active Trader interface is designed for more active participation in the stock market, combining real-time market data, charts, and order execution tools in a single workspace.

The upgrade comes as trading activity increases and investors demand quicker access to information and execution.

Active Trader builds on recent platform updates, including Trade from Charts, which allows users to place orders directly from price charts, and a Historical Portfolio View that gives clients a longer-term look at portfolio performance.

According to the company, the new interface uses a chart-first layout and live market data to help users track price movements, assess liquidity, and execute trades more efficiently, particularly during periods of heightened volatility.

“Our role is to ensure clients are equipped with reliable, easy-to-use tools that allow them to participate confidently and responsibly,” said FirstMetroSec president Mhelvin Abajon, noting that market volatility can create opportunities for prepared investors.

Active Trader is part of the FirstMetroSec PRO platform, which includes advanced features such as conditional orders that allow users to predefine entry and exit points as part of their risk management strategy.
