Ford PH expands EV push and provincial reach

Ford Philippines has launched the first leg of its Ford Island Conquest (FIC) 2026 campaign, a nationwide roadshow aimed at expanding market presence and bringing its latest vehicles and services closer to customers outside Metro Manila.

The kickoff event also highlighted the company’s sales and segment performance in 2025, including cumulative sales of 100,000 units for the Ford Territory Hybrid.

The Ford Everest was cited as the country’s top-selling midsize 4×4 SUV, while the Mustang internal-combustion variant led the sports car segment in the region.

A key highlight of the launch was the Philippine introduction of the all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E, marking the brand’s formal entry into the local electric-vehicle space as competition in the EV market begins to accelerate.

For 2026, Ford outlined plans to improve customer access and after-sales support through a series of regional activations and service initiatives.

These include additional Island Conquest events, a mobile showroom program targeting customers in the Visayas and Mindanao, and expanded mobile servicing designed to handle more than 70% of routine vehicle maintenance at home.

The automaker is also rolling out an online service-tracking platform intended to give customers real-time visibility into vehicle servicing, alongside dealership upgrades and efforts to improve spare-parts availability.

A new training center in Calbayog is scheduled to open this year to train service advisors, technicians, and dealership managers as Ford works to standardize customer-service quality across its provincial network.

Ford confirmed participation in the 10th Philippine International Motor Show in July, where refreshed versions of its best-selling models are expected to be displayed.

Pop-up stores are likewise planned across key cities in the Visayas and Mindanao to allow potential buyers to view vehicles and consult with representatives without visiting full dealerships.
