Smart Communications has introduced a new set of postpaid offerings bundled with unlimited access to select mobile applications, as the telco ramps up efforts to attract data-heavy users.
Dubbed “All-New Postpaid Plans+ with Unli Apps,” the plans allow subscribers to use specific apps without consuming their regular data allocation.
The apps are grouped into three categories — Connect, Create, and Play — reflecting common usage patterns such as social media, content creation, and mobile gaming.
The Connect bundle covers platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp. The Create bundle includes YouTube and Google services like Gmail, Drive, Maps, Meet, and Photos, as well as the AI tool Gemini.
Meanwhile, the Play bundle offers access to games such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Honor of Kings.
“As we continue to personalize the digital experience for every subscriber, the All-New Plans+ with Unli Apps is our way of elevating the postpaid experience, so it fits effortlessly into your everyday lifestyle and your digital routine feel exactly as it should,” said Marjorie Garrovillo, first vice president and co-officer-in-charge at Smart.
The plans are offered in four tiers: Plan+ 799, Plan+ 999, Plan+ 1499, and Plan+ 1999. These come with varying amounts of open-access data, bundled unlimited 5G access for a limited period, and a choice of app bundles depending on the plan level.
All plans include unlimited calls and texts across networks, as well as landline calls and video calls via LTE where supported.
Smart said the new plans also come with network prioritization and access to device offers, alongside benefits tied to its mobile network performance, which it said has received recognition from Ookla for video experience and latency.
The new postpaid plans are now available to new subscribers, with the company indicating that more app bundles may be introduced in the future.
