Xpress Super App has launched a new incentive program that will allow newly enrolled transport network vehicle service (TNVS) drivers to keep all of their earnings from rides during their first 60 days on the platform.
Called “Xpress Go,” the program offers zero commission for the first two months to drivers who sign up between June 12 and Aug. 31, 2026. After the introductory period, drivers will be charged a 12% commission rate until the end of the year.
The Filipino-owned ride-hailing company said it is allocating P30 million for the initiative, which it described as a response to rising operating costs faced by drivers and part of its effort to encourage the use of hybrid and electric vehicles.
Under the program, participating drivers can also receive up to P4,000 per month through a vehicle branding scheme, milestone bonuses of up to P5,000 during the first 60 days, and referral incentives for recruiting other drivers to the platform. The offer is limited to 500 drivers in Metro Manila.
Priority will be given to drivers already operating hybrid or electric vehicles, as well as those planning to shift to cleaner vehicles through financing arrangements facilitated by Xpress and its partners.
According to the company, a driver completing 10 to 12 trips daily with an average fare of P300 could earn an additional P18,000 to P21,600 per month compared to working on a platform that charges a 20% commission.
“Filipinos have always been early to good ideas — innovators and adopters, especially when the right path is also the right thing to do. Electric and hybrid vehicles are that path. But making the shift is hard. We know what that transition costs a driver and we know it can’t fall on them alone,” said Cliff Cabungcal, president of Xpress Super App.
Cabungcal said the company is funding the initiative from revenues generated by its operations, which include ride-hailing services, corporate accounts, and its owned fleet of hybrid and electric vehicles.
“Xpress has grown because Filipinos backed us — businesses, drivers, riders. Filipinos support Filipinos,” he added. “P30 million into Xpress Go is our way of giving back to the people who got us here. After the relief period, our commission is 12% — locked in writing, and one of the lowest sustainable rates from any Filipino-owned ride-hailing platform.”
Founded in 2022, Xpress operates ride-hailing and mobility services in Metro Manila and several provincial areas. The company said it currently has more than 120 hybrid and electric vehicles in its fleet and is working with partners to expand the adoption of cleaner transport technologies.
