Ford Philippines has expanded its hybrid vehicle line-up with the launch of the Territory Hybrid Platinum, a new range-topping variant priced at an introductory P1.655 million.
Unveiled in Laguna on Friday, Aug. 7, the new model builds on the Territory Hybrid introduced in the Philippines last year. Ford said it sold 4,405 units of the hybrid SUV as of June 2026.
The launch was accompanied by the Philippine rollout of Ford’s new global brand platform, “Ready Set Ford,” as well as the return and expansion of its Ford Family Guarantee aftersales program.
The Territory Hybrid Platinum uses a 1.5-liter four-cylinder dedicated hybrid engine paired with a two-speed dedicated hybrid transmission and lithium-ion battery.

Ford lists maximum engine output at 150 PS and 230 Nm of torque, while the electric motor can produce 218 PS and 315 Nm. The powertrain can operate in EV, series, parallel and energy-recovery modes without requiring external charging.
The automaker claims fuel consumption of 19.6 kilometers per liter and a driving range of up to 1,000 kilometers on a full tank. Regenerative braking and the internal combustion engine replenish the battery while the vehicle is being driven.

“We are incredibly proud of the Territory Hybrid and the overwhelming reception it has achieved over the past year. Leveraging on its popularity and appeal to Filipino customers, we are introducing the Territory Hybrid Platinum,” said Byron Daquil, director for retail product marketing and business growth at Ford Philippines.
“With the Territory Hybrid Platinum, we are bringing a new level of driving sophistication for customers seeking the space, comfort and safety of a family SUV combined with the refinement of a luxury vehicle.”

Among the technology additions are Traffic Jam Assist and Integrated Cruise Assist, which work with adaptive cruise control to manage speed, braking and steering assistance under certain driving conditions.
Traffic Jam Assist operates when adaptive cruise control is active and the vehicle drops below 60 km/h. It can use lane markings or the vehicle ahead to help determine its path. At speeds above 60 km/h, adaptive cruise control and Integrated Cruise Assist take over to provide acceleration, braking, and steering assistance.

The SUV also gets dual 12-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Ford app connectivity, a 10-speaker Arkamys audio system and a cabin air-filtration system with a PM2.5 filter and ionizer.
One unusual addition is a built-in “Digital Scent” system integrated into the center console. Drivers can control fragrance intensity through the touchscreen and select from six scent profiles, three of which come pre-installed.

Other equipment includes ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, power tailgate and 19-inch alloy wheels. Cargo capacity ranges from 448 liters to 1,442 liters with the second-row seats folded.
The Territory Hybrid Platinum is offered in Moonbay Blue, Lustrous Grey and Crystal Pearl White. Reservations opened Aug. 7. Its introductory price includes a five-year warranty and two-year scheduled service plan.

Alongside the vehicle launch, Ford Philippines introduced “Ready Set Ford,” a global branding platform built around three themes — Build, Thrill and Adventure — which the company said will guide its product, service and marketing activities.
“For many years, Ford has been known for building capable, reliable, and fun to drive vehicles,” said Pedro Simoes, managing director of Ford Philippines.
“Today, we’re taking that story even further. ‘Ready Set Ford’ reflects our commitment to understanding how people live today and creating products and experiences that become part of those journeys. It’s about building stronger connections with our customers by celebrating the moments that matter most to them.”

Ford also brought back its Family Guarantee program, expanding its package of aftersales services.
The program covers online service booking, vehicle pickup and delivery at participating dealerships, 90-minute Express Service, mobile servicing and remote vehicle functions through the Ford app.
It also includes prepaid Scheduled Service Plans and SSP Plus, a three-year service package covering scheduled maintenance from 20,000 to 100,000 kilometers. Customers can check estimated periodic maintenance costs through Ford’s online Service Price Calculator.

Ford said it has also expanded its parts distribution center to 13,000 square meters, double the size of its previous facility, allowing same-day parts deliveries to dealerships in Metro Manila and nearby areas. A new 1,500-square-meter Ford Learning Center will handle technical and non-technical training for dealership personnel.
“Ford Family Guarantee is a testament to the many ways we’re improving and innovating the aftersales experience – to make our customers feel they’re part of a family that looks after and cares for them throughout their ownership journey. It is our promise that owning a Ford means never having to worry about where, when, or how you get the care your vehicle deserves,” said Pushparaj Muthusamy, director of Ford Customer Service Division at Ford Philippines.
