Electric vehicle maker BYD Cars Philippines introduced two new electric vehicles at the Manila International Auto Show 2026 — the Atto 2 EV and the Sealion 7 — expanding its lineup of battery-powered models in the country.

The BYD eMax 7 shows that EVs are not only viable but compelling as daily drivers — but only if the ecosystem around them is ready to support them.
