The latest Kaspersky research has revealed that cybercriminals posted more than one million messages mentioning escrow services on the dark Web from 2020 to 2022.
According to a discussion thread in the Facebook page of Privacy.PH, the personal data being peddled at the dark Web appears to be legitimate although Cashalo has not yet submitted any breach incident report to the NPC.
A shadowy part of the Internet called the "Dark Web" is a marketplace that sells illegal drugs, guns, counterfeit goods, pornography, and offers services such as killers for hire, among others.
