The SEC’s online payment portal has since accepted payments for fees and penalties amounting toP202.32 million from a total of 29,565 transactions, as of June 8, 2022.
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and the Philippine Payments Management Inc., (PPMI) said they will launch “Bills Pay”, “Request to Pay”, and “Direct Debit” facilities.

BSP governor Benjamin Diokno said monetary authorities consider as a success the rise in e-payments during the ECQ because of the expansion in the volume and value of transactions.
