GAC Philippines said the Aion UT is positioned as a compact five-seater EV hatchback designed for urban driving, with the company highlighting its spacious interior, advanced driver assistance systems, and fast-charging capability.
The AION UT also features GAC’s “Magazine Battery” technology, a high-strength steel body structure, and fast-charging capability that can charge the battery from 30% to 80% in about 24 minutes.

Chinese automaker GAC made a strong statement at the 13th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS), unveiling two all-new battery electric vehicles — the AION V and HYPTEC HT — alongside the Philippine debut of the AION UT, its global strategic model that first launched in Thailand.
