Filipino freelancers are enjoying a healthy influx of overseas clients, according to a recent joint white paper by US-based financial services company Payoneer and Philippine mobile payments provider GCash.

GCash said it worked closely with the NBI to arrest a gang that sold scam pages, including an imitation of the GCash webpage to dupe users via phishing to get sensitive data.
