Telecom manufacturer ZTE has introduced in the country the ZTE MF70, a 3G wireless access point that allows ten Wi-Fi-enabled devices to connect to the Internet simultaneously.
The broadband access device, which retails for P1,990, can support download speeds of up to 21.6Mbps.
As a plug-and-play device, no special configuration or setting adjustment is needed to use it. Users can simply turn on the Wi-Fi button to activate the device and they are good to go.
As a portable device, users can continue their movies and apps downloads while driving or streaming their songs while outdoors.
The device is not restricted to one service provider so users can insert any data SIM card, making it a practical solution for people who frequently travel outside the country. They can simply purchase a local data SIM card in their country of destination to avoid data roaming charges.
