?The Philippines is the first in the world to nationally declare analytics as the next growth focus,? said Mariels Almeda Winhoffer, president of Analitika and country general manager of IBM Philippines.

?As a country that will become home to topnotch global Analytics talent, Philippine companies must be fully engaged in developing and leveraging this capability and opportunity that will help improve various fields and industries and endow upon them competitive advantage.?

The consortium is working with government and academe to ensure the Philippines is well-positioned to seize this opportunity.
