In addition, NetSuite has also unveiled a host of new program offerings to enrich curriculum content making the program more attractive to institutions, faculty, and students.

Since 2011, SuiteAcademy has partnered with leading educational institutions including Purdue University, UCLA, University of Texas at Austin, Arizona State University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Waterloo in Canada, Far Eastern University in the Philippines and University of Lleida in Spain. These universities have adopted NetSuite as a key component of their accounting degree curricula.

?After six years as a professor of information systems, I am proud to bring an industry leading cloud ERP system to our classrooms. I have been absolutely thrilled with our involvement with NetSuite SuiteAcademy and think it works out marvelously well for our students,? said Gregory Dawson, professor of accounting information systems at Arizona State University.

?Students get valuable hands-on experience with a great product that should help them in their future careers. It allows them to better understand what ERP is, how it works and what they need to pay attention to.?

These new features have been launched to respond to a growing demand for SuiteAcademy, and to help grow the global ecosystem of skilled NetSuite professionals available to both customer organizations and NetSuite Solution Provider Partners as adoption of NetSuite?s cloud business management suite continues to accelerate around the world.

Supported by professor-developed curricula, SuiteAcademy gives students hands-on instruction in the use of NetSuite in classrooms, at home, over mobile devices or anywhere with an Internet connection.

Through the program, students gain practical NetSuite skills and knowledge to jumpstart their careers and speed time to value for hiring organizations.

New SuiteAcademy program features and focus areas introduced include:

No-cost access to all NetSuite training. SuiteAcademy now offers both professors and students full access to the entire catalog of online and in-person training courses at no cost. This provides increased opportunities for students to learn across the full range of beginner, intermediate, and advanced course offerings.

Base-level SuiteFoundation validation. Students are now able and encouraged to take the base-level SuiteFoundation exam, a proctored, in-depth test that validates foundational knowledge of the NetSuite system and functionality. Students are able to highlight successful completion of the SuiteFoundation exam on their resumes and LinkedIn profiles, while hiring organizations have a means of identifying qualified job prospects.

Collaboration with Solution Provider Partners. NetSuite is actively working with Solution Providers to deepen their involvement in the SuiteAcademy program and position them to hire the best and brightest students upon graduation. Solution Providers are now able to post job openings and other announcements on the SuiteAcademy Student Resource Center, which is accessible to participating schools.

?The expanded scope and features of SuiteAcademy builds on the strong uptake and momentum the program has enjoyed since its inception,? said Mark Bidwell, NetSuite associate director of education programs.
