Video-streaming site HOOQ adds Disney, Miramax, and DreamWorks

Video-streaming website HOOQ announced that it has recently signed deals with new content partners Disney, DreamWorks Classic Media, and Miramax, boosting its catalog of Hollywood and Pinoy movies and TV series for Filipinos.

With the addition of the studios, HOOQ is now offering over 30,000 hours of Hollywood and Pinoy content.

As of July 2015, HOOQ will be introducing a substantial number of key titles to its catalog. Movie buffs can revel in non-stop action thrills with blockbuster hits like ?Captain America: The First Avenger? and ?Thor?.

HOOQ users can also choose from titles provided by existing content partners Warner Bros. and Sony Pictures Entertainment, alongside the Philippines? own studios like ABS-CBN/Star Cinema, Regal Entertainment, Viva Communications, and GMA as well as independent filmmakers Quantum Films and Captive Media (who have produced award winning hits such as ?English Only, Please? and ?Metro Manila? respectively.)

For P199 a month, users have access to unlimited local and Hollywood entertainment, which can be viewed on five Internet-enabled devices. Users can share the HOOQ experience with their loved ones or friends, as they can stream simultaneously on two devices ? ? on just one subscription.

HOOQ also offers a unique download feature of up to five titles at a time, ensuring that there is always video content to be enjoyed even when users are offline or facing poor connectivity.

Launched first in the Philippines in February this year, HOOQ is planning to continuously expand its catalog of Hollywood, regional and local content. To date, HOOQ has registered over four million minutes of streaming and 50,000 app downloads in the Philippines.
