Acer PH sets sights on high-end PC market with new campaign

After leading the local PC market in the last few years, computer maker Acer is now setting its goal on the premium segment of the market that is currently dominated by rival tech firms such as Apple.

To achieve that objective, the local office of the Taiwan-headquartered company has launched a new campaign called #FLAUNTit, which is designed to showcase the performance and aesthetic features of Acer?s high-end products.

The laptops appeal to a diverse set of people and are equipped with the new Windows 10, Microsoft’s newest operating system.

Both dazzling and slim, the Acer Aspire S7 Ultrabook boasts of new 5th generation Intel Core i7 processor for better performance yet uses less power for longer battery life (up to 8.5 hours long). Its slim design (12.9 mm thin, 1.3 kg weight) is wrapped in matte silver accents for elegance and Corning Gorilla Glass body for power.

The Acer Aspire V Nitro, meanwhile, runs on Intel Core i7 processor and backed by cutting-edge graphics. Its Dolby Digital Plus Home Theater built-in surround-sound speakers and a high-end IPS (In-Plane Switching) screen give users the full cinematic-viewing experience.

There?s also a red back-lit keyboard for problem-free typing, metallic hinge accent, and a cool Acer ?CoolBoost? technology for easier control of airflow within the unit and improved system cooling.

For the multi-tasker individuals, the Acer Aspire R13 has the futuristic and smart Ezel Aero Hinge that lets them transition to six different user modes. Its thin (17.99mm) and light (1.5kg) frame is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 cover, matched with steel black coating.

The R13 has Solid State Drive (SSD) for larger storage capacity and powerful Intel Core processor that has twice the processing speed when playing games, doing office work, watching movies or surfing the Internet.

Switch 12

The Switch 12, on the other hand, can be used as a laptop or a tablet with or without a keyboard. This immersive and intuitive computer has an Intel Core M processor for ultra-fast performance but uses less battery juice (up to 8 hours battery life), and the dashing 12.5-inch full HD screen has anti-fingerprint treatment to effectively reduce unsightly smudges.
