Following the recently announced partnership between Comelec and Twitter, Comelec chairperson Juan Andres Bautista has opened his official Twitter account at @ChairAndyBau and will be holding a Twitter-hosted Q&A on Saturday, Jan. 30, at 1:30pm to commemorate the 100-day countdown before Voting Day.
The public is encouraged to join in on the discussion and ask their questions to Comelec — ranging from campaign protocols and system improvements to election registration — via Twitter using the hashtag #AskComelec.
To enhance the level and quality of interaction during the Q&A, Bautista will also utilize Periscope, Twitter?s live video streaming app, to answer questions real-time through video format.
Questions can now be submitted via #AskComelec on Twitter and follow @ChairAndyBau to see his first Tweet as well as participate in the live conversations.
