With the launch of Zomato Order, users can find complete restaurant information, updated menus, photos, ratings and reviews, and geocoded coordinates.

Zomato announced the launch of its online ordering services in Manila through a strategic investment in homegrown logistics leader Quick Delivery.

Quick Delivery is a pioneer in the Philippine food delivery and takeout market, and has exclusive partnerships with over 1,200 restaurants.

Leveraging on Quick Delivery?s leadership position in the corporate segment, its exclusive restaurant agreements, and a customer base, Zomato said it is in a position to make a strong entry into the Philippine delivery market.

With no investment required to go live, and an easy-to-use app for merchants to accept and deploy orders directly from users, the Zomato-Quick Delivery service enables restaurants to realize revenue seamlessly.

?The delivery market in the Philippines has the potential to be one of the largest in Asia,? said Pankaj Chaddah, co-founder of Zomato, which was founded in India.

?We believe strongly in the leadership of Quick Delivery and what they?ve built and achieved in the Philippines over the years. Through this partnership, we believe we will create real value and bring a smoother, more enjoyable ordering experience to our customers. This will also enable restaurants to cater to a vast base of engaged users in a seamless way,?

Users simply place their orders through their own Zomato app, and the merchant will receive a notification on their own merchant app on a Zomato-provided device, with the option to either accept or decline.

Once an order has been accepted, merchants can then select the appropriate delivery time, which the user then receives.

The merchant app will also allow for real-time control over a restaurant?s service offer ? including when the business is open or closed, which menu items are available for delivery, when a certain menu item is unavailable at a certain time or day, among others.

Since 2013, Zomato Philippines has become the go-to website and app for foodies ? to an average on 13 million monthly page views.
