Samsung unveils its first digital TV smartphone in PH

South Korean tech titan Samsung has introduced in the Philippines its first digital TV smartphone — the Galaxy J2 DTV.

The Galaxy J2 DTV blurs the lines between a digital TV and a smartphone by bringing local TV shows straight to your smartphone.

The unit boasts of a mobile digital TV that lets users watch their favorite TV shows anytime, anywhere and in HD-like channels via its 4.7? qHD Super AMOLED display. The Samsung Galaxy J2 DTV is also a hardworking smartphone that is capable of running on 4G LTE and Wi-Fi.

Aside from this, the Galaxy J2 DTV also has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front camera. It comes with 8GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot that allows users to store more content without having to delete any of their favorite photos or videos.

It also boasts of dual-SIM capability, which gives consumers the flexibility to enjoy both a post-paid and a prepaid line, or even services from two different service providers.

The Galaxy J2 DTV is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU and comes with a fast-charging 2,000 mAh removable battery.

Priced at P6,990, the Galaxy J2 DTV is available at Samsung Experience Stores and authorized dealers nationwide.
