Chinese electronics manufacturer TCL recently launched its newest set of home appliances, including TVs and air-conditioners at the PBA Caf? in Ortigas, Pasig City.
Joined by Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) veterans Raffy Reavis, Ranidel De Ocampo, and Cyrus Baguio, the event underscored the importance of TV and comfort of air-conditioners in Filipino lives.
Cityline C2
TCL unveiled a mid-to-premium TVs: the Android M-powered 4K TV C2, the curved smart TV P3, and the Quantum Dot TV X3.
In the Cityline series, the C2 — available in 49-, 55-, and 75-inch models — is powered by Android M, granting users with access to a broad range of content and functions including Google Play Store, Games, Music, Movie, TV, and Chromecast. It also features a built-in voice search.
The C2 is bundled with Netflix app to deliver TV episodes and movies up to 4K resolution. A Netflix button on the C2 remote directs users to the app in a snap.
On the technical side, C2 delivers viewing experience with HDR Pro, Wide Color Gamut (WCG), 4K UHD, and Micro Dimming technologies. The smart TV is also equipped with studio-like audio effect from front-facing Harman Kardon speakers.

The Full HD curved smart TV P3 offers wide-angle viewing and Natural Light Engine 2.0 to reduce eye strain. The front-facing speakers with Dolby Audio and Smart Volume take on the sound experience, with Smart Volume eliminating the sudden sound fluctuations typically experienced when switching channels.
Available in 49-inch model, it comes with TCL App store, the P3 provides over 300 applications ranging from video-on-demand, social, gaming, music, and photo sharing.
XESS X3
One of the few TVs with Quantum Dot (QD) technology, the X3 projects an enhanced picture quality with HDR Pro and Micro Dimming technologies. It features a studio-level audio experience with Harman Kardon speakers and Dolby Audio, too. The design came from Nordic influences and cultivated details from the East, creating a new look for TV devices.
The X3, with a body measurement of 6.9mm, is available in 65-inch in the initial launch. It is also powered by Android M to let consumers access their Google apps and content from Netflix and YouTube easily.
R410a
TCL?s latest series of R410a air conditioners is said to respond to the emerging ozone depletion problems. Unlike the series it preceded, the F Series is more environmental friendly since it employs the use of R410a refrigerant.
The F Series boasts gold-plated louver fins designed to prevent and withstand extreme rust and corrosion to assure a longer product life. It is also packed with 5-in-1 health filters for safe and healthy breathable indoor air.
The F Series Window Type air conditioner is available in Manual and Remote types, and comes in 0.6HP, 0.8HP, 1.0HP, 1.5HP, and 2.0HP capacities.
KE Inverter Split Type Air Conditioner
TCL?s KE Series comes with the Mosqui-Go feature, a mosquito repellent function utilizing a built-in ultrasonic mosquito repelling device to keep mosquitoes away.
Similar to its basic inverter line features, the KE Series is equipped with high-quality Full 5D DC components, providing a precise method of maintaining the set temperature, which effectively reduces power consumption by up to 60?70% at an optimal temperature setting.
Additionally, the KE Series uses R410a refrigerant for without compromising health and environmental safety. It also features Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).
