Gokongwei-owned Robinsons Bank has introduced its RBank Biz Portal and RBank QuickR QR Code capability to enable contactless transactions among local buyers and sellers.
RBank Biz is an online platform where business owners — even online sellers in Facebook — can manage their cashflow.
Interested e-commerce sellers and micro business owners can apply to become an RBank Merchant through its digitized application process. The application process can take as short as three days, depending on their type of business.
RBank Biz, which is offered free of charge, will also soon enable a Merchant Dashboard where RBank merchants can track their receivables, providing a sales monitoring facility for their business.
The RBank QuickR, meanwhile, is meant for contactless transactions to avoid handling cash and remain users safe from the coronavirus.
RBank’s QR is a cashless payment solution that allows RBank accountholders to send and receive digital payments from other RBank accounts or RBank Biz merchants via QR code.
Through RBank’s QR, payments received are credited to the RBank account in real-time but in encrypted and secure manner. In a few months, RBank said its QuickR QR code will have the capability to receive payments from other banks.
