Smartphone maker Honor Philippines launched last Nov. 20 the Honor Magic V3, which the company claims to be the thinnest foldable smartphone in the market right now.
To ensure quality, the Magic V3 is equipped with Honor’s Super Armored Inner Screen, which can withstand over 500,000 folds, supported by the Honor Super Steel Hinge.
The crease depth of the foldable screen is just 78µm, making it nearly unnoticeable to the eye and touch. Additionally, it features the Honor Anti-scratch NanoCrystal Shield, adding a silicon nitride layer on the front screen that has earned SGS Durability Certification.
The screen is complemented by a chassis constructed with special fiber for improved impact resistance. The device also boasts an IPX8 water resistance rating, allowing it to be submerged up to 2.5 meters deep and survive a 15-minute wash cycle in a washing machine.
In terms of performance, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor offers optimal operational efficiency and enhanced gaming capabilities, outperforming the previous Magic V2 model.
The Honor Falcon Camera System includes three high-powered cameras capable of capturing clear images with up to 100x zoom, delivering images at a resolution of 8192 x 6144 and videos at 3840 x 2160.
The two 20MP wide front-facing cameras on the external and internal screens can capture images with a resolution of 5120 x 3840 and record videos at 3840 x 2160.
The Magic V3 also integrates Google’s AI models and cloud technologies to enhance user experience with features like Magic Portal on Foldable, face-to-face translation, and translation tools in Honor Notes, all aimed at increasing productivity and efficiency.
For creative tasks, built-in AI features include the Honor AI Eraser, Honor AI Motion Sensing, and Honor AI Portrait Engine, which help achieve optimal shots under various conditions.
The Honor Magic V3 is available for a retail price of P89,999, offering 24GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It comes in green and black colors, and as a special offer, customers will receive a free Honor Pad X9 with every purchase until December 5.
Additionally, Globe has partnered with Honor Philippines to offer the Magic V3 to subscribers through the GPlan Plus for P1,514 per month over 36 months, which includes free 20GB of data and unlimited all-net calls and texts.
