British smartphone brand Nothing has launched its latest midrange devices, the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro and Nothing Phone (4a), alongside a new audio product, Headphone (a), during a launch event on March 27.
The two smartphones differ mainly in build quality, display, and performance. The Phone (4a) Pro features a glass-and-aluminum construction with Gorilla Glass 7i on both sides, while the standard Phone (4a) uses the same glass protection on the front but pairs it with a plastic frame and glass back. The Pro model also carries a higher IP65 rating for water and dust resistance, compared to IP64 for the 4a.
On the display side, the Pro variant comes with a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5000 nits peak brightness. The 4a, meanwhile, has a slightly smaller 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4500 nits peak brightness. Both devices support HDR10+.

Performance is powered by Qualcomm’s midrange chipsets, with the Pro using the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and the standard model running on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. Both are positioned to deliver smooth everyday performance, with the Pro offering slightly higher clock speeds.
Camera capabilities are largely similar across both models, each equipped with a triple-camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 32-megapixel front camera.
Battery capacity is also identical at 5,080mAh, with support for 50W wired charging. The company said users can reach a 50% charge in 22 minutes and a full charge in 64 minutes. Both phones also support 7.5W reverse wired charging.

Alongside the smartphones, Nothing introduced the Headphone (a), which features 40mm drivers and a frequency response range of 20Hz to 40,000Hz. The device also includes adaptive active noise cancellation capable of reducing ambient noise by up to 40dB.
The headphones are equipped with a 1,060mAh battery, offering up to 135 hours of playback without ANC and up to 75 hours with ANC enabled. Fast charging provides up to eight hours of playback from a five-minute charge, while a three-microphone system is designed to improve call clarity.
The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is priced starting at P34,990, while the Phone (4a) starts at P21,990. The Headphone (a) is priced at P10,490. The devices will be available through Digital Walker and Beyond the Box stores nationwide, with pre-order offers running until April 6.
