Trend Micro rebrands enterprise unit to TrendAI amid AI-driven security shift

Cybersecurity firm Trend Micro has rebranded its enterprise cybersecurity business unit as “TrendAI,” as companies grapple with rising risks tied to the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence (AI).

The move signals a shift in positioning, with the company framing cyber risk management as a core business concern rather than a purely technical function, as enterprises increasingly integrate AI, data, and automation into operations.

“This is not a cosmetic change. It signals where we are going and how we intend to lead. TrendAI reflects our conviction that security must evolve as quickly as the technology it protects,” said Eva Chen, CEO of Trend Micro.

As part of the transition, the company is consolidating its enterprise offerings into a unified platform called TrendAI Vision One, aimed at integrating capabilities across cloud security, endpoint protection, network defense, and threat detection.

The rebranding also comes with new initiatives targeting customers and the broader tech community, including a podcast series focused on AI and cybersecurity, as well as a global event series to discuss emerging risks and security strategies.

TrendAI is also expanding partnerships, including a tie-up with S-RM, to support organizations in incident response and long-term cyber risk management.

The company said it will also test new approaches to security validation through its “HackerVerse” initiative, which uses autonomous AI agents to assess detection capabilities in real time.
