PRC integrates MYEG payment platform for online fee collections

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has signed a four-party agreement with MYEG Philippines, the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr), and the Land Bank of the Philippines to expand digital payment options for PRC transactions.

Under the memorandum of agreement, MYEG Philippines’ Electronic Payment and Collection System (EPCS) will be integrated into the PRC’s Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS), allowing users to pay PRC fees online.

The arrangement also includes the implementation of the Electronic Documentary Stamp Tax (eDST) for PRC transactions.

The system will cover payments for licensure examination applications, initial registration, license renewals, certifications, and other PRC services.

According to the parties, the platform supports payments through e-wallets, online banking channels, credit and debit cards, over-the-counter payment centers, and QRPh-enabled banking applications.

MYEG Philippines chief executive officer Ann Margaret Saldaña said the partnership supports efforts to modernize government services.

“This partnership marks another significant milestone in MYEG PH’s mission to help accelerate the digital transformation of government services in the Philippines. Through our Electronic Payment and Collection System, we are enabling more accessible, secure, and convenient payment solutions that empower Filipinos and support government agencies in improving service efficiency and citizen experience,” Saldaña said.

PRC chairperson Charito Zamora said the agency is seeking to make its services more accessible through digital channels.

“The PRC continuously seeks innovative ways to improve the delivery of our services to the Filipino public. Through this partnership, we are making PRC transactions more accessible, convenient, and aligned with the government’s digitalization initiatives and ease of doing business agenda,” Zamora said.

Deputy Treasurer of the Philippines Eduardo Anthony Mariño III said the initiative is part of broader efforts to modernize government collections and public services.

“This collaboration reflects our collective commitment to transform public service delivery and strengthen government collections in an increasingly digital world. It ensures that government services remain responsive to the evolving needs of our citizens, while upholding transparency, accountability, and efficiency in national collections,” Mariño said.

LandBank first vice president Nardo Masa said the state-run bank will continue supporting digital payment initiatives across government agencies.

“Landbank remains committed to supporting programs that advance financial inclusion and digital innovation in government services. Through this partnership, we help ensure that Filipinos have access to reliable and secure payment facilities for their PRC transactions anytime and anywhere,” Masa said.

The agreement was signed by representatives of the PRC, BTr, LandBank, and MYEG Philippines during a ceremony attended by officials from the four institutions.
