Apple has introduced the AirPods 5, Apple Watch Series 12, and Apple Watch Ultra 4 alongside its new iPhone lineup, adding AI-powered audio functions and expanded health-monitoring capabilities to its wearable devices.
The AirPods 5 feature a redesigned Open Ear Fit and a new acoustic architecture. Apple said the earphones provide 50% more noise reduction than their predecessors through improved Active Noise Cancellation.
The earphones also support personalized spatial audio, adaptive audio, and an updated transparency mode designed to let users hear their surroundings while listening to content.
Siri integration enables hands-free controls and live translation. Apple also claims longer battery life and improved durability, although specific battery figures were not provided.
Philippine pricing for the AirPods 5 starts at P9,490, with a wireless charging case available as an option.
Apple also unveiled the Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4, which use a new Health Sensing System to collect and analyze cardiovascular, activity, sleep, and other health data.
Both models have an upgraded electrocardiogram function with a larger electrode surface area. Redesigned photodiodes and larger, more power-efficient LEDs are intended to improve optical heart-rate measurements.
The watches can take background heart-rate readings every five seconds, increasing the number of samples used to measure heart-rate variability.
A new “Readiness” feature combines activity, vital signs, and sleep data to recommend whether a user should exercise or rest.
Powered by Apple’s S11 chip, the watches also introduce “Audio Intelligence,” which can identify environmental sounds such as alarms and sirens.
A “Live Rewind” function lets users replay the previous 15 seconds of audio, while “Siri Recap” generates summaries of conversations.
Apple said audio recordings used by the features are not stored, addressing potential privacy concerns over the watches’ continuous audio processing.

The Apple Watch Series 12 uses Ceramic Shield 2 and delivers up to 24 hours of battery life. It will start at P28,990 in the Philippines.
Designed for longer workouts and outdoor activities, the titanium Apple Watch Ultra 4 offers more than two days of battery life and up to 45 hours of workout tracking. Prices start at P59,990.
Apple has yet to announce the Philippine preorder and release dates for the two watches.
