Radenta Academy will offer Fortinet cybersecurity courses in the Philippines under a partnership aimed at IT workers and companies training their security teams.
The courses cover network protection, threat intelligence, security operations center work, and cloud security.
Available certification tracks include Fortinet Certified Fundamentals (FCF), Fortinet Certified Associate (FCA), and Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP), with professional training focused on network security and FortiGate administration.
The courses are open to IT graduates, career shifters, system administrators, and corporate IT and security teams. Fundamental tracks take about 15 to 20 hours.
Professional tracks can be completed through a three- to five-day bootcamp or part-time study over three to six weeks, according to Radenta Academy.
Training will combine self-paced labs with live virtual instruction. Companies can also arrange on-site bootcamps for their teams. Radenta Academy said it will provide local instructors, hands-on mentoring, and operational support.
“We joined forces to directly combat the severe cyber skills gap in the country by combining Fortinet’s industry-leading technology with Radenta’s local educational reach,” according to Dianne Angeline Mabuna, administrator for Radenta Academy.
“A massive digital transformation is happening across Philippine banking, healthcare, government, and telecommunications that has outpaced cybersecurity hiring,” added Mabuna.
Radenta Academy said it is aligning the training with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority’s Enterprise-Based Education and Training framework.
